Well, 'The Shawshank Redemption' currently holds the top spot on the IMDb... of all time! On the other hand IMDb rating for 'Satantango' is 8.6 and even higher for 'US Go Home' (8.7) They're each outstanding in their own way, I don't see the problem.

*Forrest Gump* outbeats *U.S. Go Home* and *Chungking Express* and *Pulp Fiction* are higher on the list than *Satantango*. Mubi is no different than IMDb , I can tell you that.
