2009

By: Drew Gregory

Here are all of the 2009 releases I have seen.

This year just keeps improving! Dare I say, one of the greatest years in film? Too much? Ok, but damn its been a good year!

I just want to say it’s bizarre just how much I like the majority of the films on this list. I mean Up is probably my favorite Pixar film. What’s it doing all the way down at 15? I’ll put it this way #1-15 are in my favorites.

And Avatar isn't on any of my lists, just so we're clear.

We agree more than we disagree--I will give you a more detailed breakdown next week. There are many here I need to see.

I hate living in my po-dunk rathole in Alabama. I still need to see The White Ribbon and Tetro. Inglourious Basterds was by far my number 1, though. I've seen it nearly 10 times by now and I've found something new each time. I've gotten to the point where I harass random people on the street like a deranged homeless man, shouting its merits to increasingly concerned and terrified onlookers.
