I know I should call this list my 25 favorite American comedies, but nobody will care to read it then. Comedy is relative so obviously opinions vary.

I used to love the Jerk, but it didn't hold up to me on a recent viewing (still some laughs of course.) I should have Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles or something to represent Brooks, but for that matter I should have Take the Money and Run or Broadway Danny Rose or something to represent Allen. These are just my favorite at the moment, but not written in stone.
