Maurice Pialat

Maurice Pialat is one of France’s most underrated directors. At Montparnasse Cemetery in Paris, where he is buried, there is a sign that tells where you can find the graves of famous people. Even though Pialat died in 2003, the sign does not have Pialat listed (as of January, 2011). When I asked a guard on-duty, he said he didn’t know.
