In honor of the recent restoration of Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s WORLDS ON WIRE, here is a list for your perusal of what I consider the best science fiction films made by arthouse and experimental directors. Note: STILL LIFE makes the list for its wondrous shot of a spaceship taking off (and because I have a hard time making ANY “best of” list that does not include the film).
