Great list! I do need to watch some Australien movies and why is there nothing by Paul Cox. I have seen a couple of his movies and liked them a lot, especially A Woman's Tale.

I haven't deliberately left Paul Cox off my list, I haven't seen any of his films yet! In addition to "A Woman's Tale", I really want to see "Man of Flowers" and "Molokai:The Story of Father Damien".

Awesome list, thanks for compiling. I highly recommend you to watch "Candy", it might be one of my favourite movies of 2006.

Thanks Paula, I do want to see "Candy". When I was compiking this list, there were a number of Australian movies I wasn't able to include because I couldn't access them from the Mubi database.
