Chai, I was going through Toshio Matsumoto's works and saw that you rated The song of stone and mothers. I couldn't find the subs for some of Matsumoto's works and this is one of them. Since you rated it 5 stars did you see it with or without the subs ? Just asking

    Hi Doc. I saw 'Song of the Stone' with subtitles at a Matsumoto retro last year. The version that's up on UbuWeb doesn't have them, and I don't remember how essential they are to the film. All the same, it's quite good - I rated it 4 stars - and I remember being quite taken with the musique concrète soundtrack. I haven't seen 'Mothers' yet. Hopefully you will get to watch them soon.

Hey Chai, great list...I've been watching and absolutely loving the films of Johan Van der Keuken. Thanks to this great youtube user http://www.youtube.com/user/hringtorghoe Most of his films are available alot of features and astonishing shorts. I'd love to get em on here. How do you go about submitting films??

    Thanks for the link David - submitting is easy! Just go to the thread found here: http://mubi.com/topics/film-database-submission-june-2012 - there's a new one each month, so make sure you're in the right one. Fill out the form linked in the first post. It'll ask for all the info you can get on the movie (an IMDb link helps), and for at least one still (I upload them to imageshack.us). Make sure the still is 448 x 252 pixels. Then post it on the thread like you see others doing. Hope that helps. Let's get some more van der Keuken up!
