CLASSIC BRITISH HORROR FESTIVAL

As a HUGE fan of classic British horror films (Hammer, Amicus, Tigon, Pete Walker etc.) I thought it’d be fun to revisit and seek out afresh a series of films in the genre from my own fair isles.

NOTE: I am starting this ‘Classic British Horror Marathon’ from films watched in 2011 and thereafter.

THE HOUSE OF THE LONG SHADOWS (1983) – Directed by Pete Walker this rarely seen British horror flick is notable for starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Vincent Price. Rank between THE DEVIL RIDES OUT and TO THE DEVIL A DAUGHTER.
