Well, i think they could have enlarged their lists a little, so a couple of extra Dreyer masterpieces and also others could still have their rightful place without his dominating. Danish culture tends to get overshadowed by a couple of bigger neighbours, and the other cultural selections would no doubt have hidden treasures

The official cultural canon is only allowed to contain 12 pieces from each art form. The jury's main criteria was to reflect danish reality.

i'm personally content with the lack of Dreyer, the same way i'd have protested if Sweden were to lean in favor of Bergman. i'd have expected more however from Denmark given a country like that possesses a strong quality of variety and multiple choices from many decades.

I would agree with the films chosen which are on auteurs except i'm not keen on The Idiots, and of course Dreyer could have had more
