Okay, that is subjective. I guess to each his own. I sometimes like abrupt cuts but I hate the fast editing of Hollywood movies more. They never let you look at the image long enough...but that's a different debate.

Matt, I am using the label "disturbing" in a very subjective sense. What disturbs me are abrupt cuts, flashy visuals, stubborn and aggressive protagonists, who talk in a rough and assertive way. This is not to say that "Point Blank" is a bad film. It is good, it holds suspense, it sets the mood... in fact, I do like it. But it disturbs be. What is disturbing in every sense including conventional, is "The Holy Mountain" by Jodorowsky. Gonna put it here. That is really bad.
