Favorites: 2000-2010

The operative word is favorites, as I don’t necessarily consider these films to be the best of the decade. Case in point—while I think There Will Be Blood is Paul Thomas Anderson’s masterpiece, it’s missing from this list in favor of the sheer exuberance and romanticism of Punch-Drunk Love.
