If I may suggest, Vicky Cristina Barcelona could be added, since the city and its peculiar architecture are a central part of the movie.

Thanks AFFR! But these kind of lists are very casually assembled. For example if you pick Barbarella, every Sci-Fi could be in such a list, and surely many of them are more imaginative in use of architecture than Vadim's film. Or if Louis Malle's Ascenseur is in the list, why not Vanya of 42nd Str. that completely happens inside an old theater. I think there most be a criteria, and the clearer the better, in making this sort of lists and categorization of film history from a certain point of view.
