Films that perpetuate (or perhaps validate) my fear of social gatherings

I’m not necessarily the most anti-social of people, but I am ever-so-hesitant about going to gatherings of four or more people. Do I stand in one spot too long?? Am I making a pig of myself?? Is it bad to be the first person to leave?? These films suggest that I am not the only person uncomfortable with such situations. And finally, to avoid being too cliched, I only put down one prom film, since I could create an entirely new list centered around horror films and high school.
