I haven't seen Under the Sand (well a long time ago I only saw a few minutes of it). But yes, he's very diverse. Perhaps that has even hurt his career, although I appreciate his versatility. And yes, I really like French films. ;)

there's something weird about him cause all of his films are so different like sitcom and then there's angel which is like an hollywood movie in my opinion or a film like see the sea (so powerful) an then again Ricky and a kind of stange musical crime mystery movie 8 women. don't you think? and i think charlotte rampling suits well in his films(under the sand, yes)

Perhaps I shouldn't have ranked 8 Women that high, but yes, the cast is incredible. Also I need to see Under the Sand and Ricky. Oh yes, I need to add Angel.
