Glughk., Version 2.0

By: Black Irish

Ok, had a bit of a meltdown trying to work out the previous version but hopefully this list’s for keeps. As I’ve slowly revisited various films, most of which I’ve not seen or even rewatched previously, some seem to rivet me enough to where I place them near the top of the list, only to see them slowly sink downward. Along with that, there is the constant concerns of the amount of personal ‘enjoyment’ [for lack of a better word,] inspiration and fascination each work instills in me, resulting in less a defining list [for the time being] so much as a cinematic barometer.

Favorite Directors:
- Robert Bresson

Potential Additions [Directors]:
- Joe Swanberg

Provisional Top Favorites:
- Funny Ha Ha (Andrew Bujalski, 2002)

The River (Tsai Ming-liang, 1997)

Current Tally: (6/25)

I remember when I first talked to you on here that your favorite film was *O Brother, Where Art Thou?*, and it's so cool that it's still in your top 6.

Actually, only the films at the very top of the list [at the moment Funny Ha Ha and Pickpocket] I consider in my top films. The list only contains six films at the moment because I'm slowly adding, and subtracting, films to the list. Just the same, I do still love O Brother, if not quite as much as then (Haha.) Thanks for fanning, btw.

Oh, I see, well, good list all the same haha. Never even heard of Funny Ha Ha, I'll have to check it out.

If you do, hopefully you'll enjoy it. A fair number of people really dislike it, if not outright hate.
