Great Spiritual Films

Dostoevsky happens to be my favorite novelist. I think he is the most spiritually insightful and deep writer (maybe even artist) that I have experienced. Are there any films that are on the same level? This is a list of films that have come the closest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know as this will be a repository for great spiritual films.

Btw, by “spiritual,” I mean religious films—as long as they are both spiritually deep and spiritual issues are central to the film. Films with God or a spiritual force/being as the central part of the film would also be included.
