Celebrity culture, bombardment with commercials, corporations finding ways to enrich further the already powerful. Consume, consume, consume- consume even the environmental movement (neutered and gobbled up), and so headlong towards a precipice?

Hourray for the Occupy Wall Street and global protesters, and down with Ronald McDonald, down with Rupert Murdoch, down with the greedy bankers, city fat cats, media tycoons, rich tax avoiders, billionaires and ruthless voracious multi-national corporations
