Love It or Hate It Movies

Movies that seem to find just about no middle ground among viewers.

Either you love/appreciate their qualities, their method and form of storytelling (or lack thereof!). Or you hate them, believing they’re insufferably dull, uninteresting, mean, inept, fashionable pieces of “mainstream” work that bely the fact their creator is a fraud, a sell-out, a no-hoper and/or a talentless hack, or all of the above.

    Can't say that I've come up with *every* film I could think of that is so polarizing. This is just a sampling so far of movies that, from my P.O.V., draw a really sharp reaction either way: either you're really taken by the vision or story that's offered, or it's totally not something you can stand to see or just can't suspend your disbelief for. Think about this: If you're willing to sit down and watch Talladega Nights, a Will Ferrell comedy, you're pretty much either going to go for the specific satiric swipes that are made at NASCAR culture and fans, or you're going to think everyone in the movie is completely boorish, stupid and obnoxious and not go for the experience that's being offered.
