Have you just added every film you can think of?
I thought '300' and 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' were average.
Tree of Life, I guess, is the Love it/Hate it Movie of 2011.
ah, War Inc. should be on this list. I can easily say it's a total crap, but there's something about Hillary Duff there.
Or any Olivier Assayas film, for that matter.
Unlike Peeping Tom, Eyes Wide Shut, Lives of Others, and Total Recall which are just about perfect.
Beautiful Mind, Pineapple Express, Cold Mountain, and Super Troopers are unwatchable trash. Good to get out some hate in the morning.
I think The Tree Of Life should be on here as well. I absolutely don't like it myself but many people seem to do so surprisingly.
Neat list albeit perhaps a bit too full. Personally, I would hope that all of my most beloved films are hated by at least one other person.
Oh God, this list is serious business. I can just go down it, "love it, love it, hate it, love it, hate it, hate it." Neverending circle of love and hate.
But can I just mention... I fucking hate A Beautiful Mind.
Sadly, some people tend to hate a lot of these films just because lots of other people really enjoy them.
Yeah, some good choices here.
I'd say 2001 is more of a Love It or don't get past the Overture sort of film. But then again a list with but one film wouldn't be much of a list.
cinema paradiso love it or hate it?? the people who hate cinema paradiso are robots, people without heart, people with no emotions, simple as that u.u
Pretty true, god damn i despise Juno so much
"Tetro" and "Youth without Youth" should be here too.
Most of them are very true, nevetheless there are certain I am in between. Great list, though :)
I don't know, there are some movies here that I'm definitely in between about (don't love but don't hate either) but then again I can see people being very strong for either side. Sometimes people get a little too defensive over films.. but I guess so do I sometimes.
Updated. And How. (Thumbs up)
If A BEAUTIFUL MIND is here, I think GLADIATOR also has to be here... it's the same kind of love-it-or-hate-it movie.
I really do need to watch "The Fall." There's a video store near my dad's house that has it, and I gotta get it when I go to his house over the holiday.
