Misfit Struggles

I recently gathered a bunch of post-it notes of films that have influenced my own screenplay, in one way or another. It is what it is. I can now laugh at how melancholic most of them are perceived to be, or is it just a reflection of my eternal search for connection. I just wanted to be brave enough to post it here, for whatever reason. All of them seemed to have two things in common. A. there is some version of the misfit trying to find something. B. the setting is essentially another character, usually just 2-3 simple locations: an intimate room, a rural shack, an urban street. I welcome comments. What? someone else liked the Mudge Boy? Get outta town!
