Wonderful stuff. It's been a while since I've seen it, but I think Clean Shaven might be a candidate for this list.

Hi, I've just seen this list. I love that you've got The Bed You Sleep In on it. I've just bought the DVD, to have another look at it. Saw it years ago and loved it. Also love Sure Fire and All the Vermeers. I'm going to have to post some thread on Jost. He's almost completely ignored on this site, why I don''t know, given he's arguably the most important American auteur of the last 30+ years. Also, speaking of watching movies with your eyes shut, what about India Song? Saw it again recently, and was completely dazzled by the sound track! (amongst other things.) Duras I think is almost unequaled as both a major writer and major filmmaker. (The Vice Consul is equally remarkable albeit quite different) Regards

Sure, Eraserhead definitely fits in! Thanks for the suggestion! You know, since my english is really poor, my only way to share something on this wonderful site is by making lists. nonetheless I try making lists that deals with a perspective on filmmaking, with a point of view. I'm not so interested in just letting people know how many films I've seen. Even if I'm not able to participate to discussion on the forum, I would like to think that my lists are a sort of contribution...
