it's called 8 1/2 not 'otto e mezzo' because, believe or not, they actually have the same numbers as we do in italy, it's not called 'eight and a half' in english speaking countries and it's not 'otto e mezzo' in italy. sorry that really annoyed me, other than that great list, well done!

You're so right about the first half of Vertigo being a mystery, but one of the greatest things about the film is that it reveals the "twist" early on in the film, which allows for the remainder to become a complex psychological analysis, effectively subverting the typical "everyman" thriller. Great list, Beneezy.

Nice List, couldn't agree more with your number one, I also think that the fountain is a powerful achievement, although it is not my number one the experience was certainly unforgettable.

Not bad, and nice layout. Maybe a little too heavy on contemporary films. Lots of Italians. But you should go back and proofread some of those blurbs.

Obviously I disagree with half the list. But what I do commend you on is that I think these are all important films. Also, fantastic organization.

Fine presentation. I've not yet seen the latest Scorsese that's just disappeared from your list, have heard mixed things.
