Not Ten, But Twenty-Five for All Time
By: Zachary W
My ten picks for Rich Uncle Skeleton’s ‘unofficial’ MUBI Film Poll. Entirely likely to look vastly different in my mind tomorrow. ‘28 Up’ is really standing in for Michael Apted’s entire ‘Up’ series, which is in many ways a single film being produced serially over the course of these many years. I do, however, consider it to be the pinnacle of the series, if only for the immensely beautiful and heartbreaking ‘Neil’ section.
UPDATE: Screw ten, here’s twenty-five.
