SCORSESE, ranked.

Even after all of the new directors I have explored, Scorsese has managed to remain in my top five. In addition to making great films, his passion for the art spread to me, and I cannot thank him enough for the great impact he had on my life.

I honestly love all of the 29 features and many many shorts of his that I have seen.

(New York Stories is only be counted for his segment, “Life Lessons”)

Haha. Our lists will bear some similarities but there are a few films I consider to be some of Scorsese's strongest work that you have ranked low. It'll ultimately be quite different and maybe I can convince you to reconsider some things.... No, don't worry, you don't have to re-watch Boxcar Bertha. Also, mine will be different in that I think he has 13 truly great films (may be more by the time I finish his filmography) that clearly stand out from the rest of his work.
