Yes, my mistake about Daguerreotypes and thanks for pointing it out! Actually, somehow I never felt its length of 80 minutes :) Jorgen Leth's New Scenes from America would, however, fit the list.

Thanks for the suggestions. I just added "Diary of a Pregnant Woman", since "Daguerrotypes" has a running time of 80 minutes it won't qualify as a short film though.

Really impressive list! Since all of Agnes Varda is now available here, I am missing L'Opera Mouffe (Diary of a Pregnant Woman) and Daguerrotypes :)

Great list! I need to watch more of these. This is a great resource. Have you seen any Nathaniel Dorsky shorts? I saw a few of his recently and they blew me away. My favorite was Variations.

Thanks for the suggestions, Dimitris. There are still quite a lot of shorts to add. And you may be right about Simon, it was planned as a feature anyway, so I deleted it from the list.

hey,where's Tango and Surogat? ;) i'll second Kiarostami and don't forget to mix the above shorts with some more animation,also Kieslowki's "factory" short and let's hope they add Man Ray and Ghosts Before Breakfast :P isn't Simon a middle film?

It should be easy for you to catch up on those, most are under 30 minutes and have been uploaded on youtube. I would especially recommend you "Street of Crocodiles" in case that you haven´t seen it yet.

Yes, I´m going to add that one as well as "Street of Crocodiles" as soon as someone includes those in the database. It would also be nice to see some short films by Kiarostami and Ray being added.
