Summer Resolution 2010: Watch 250 Films I Haven't Seen Before

By: Max

Update #2: So, it appears that I hadn’t added the fourth Harry Potter movie to the list when I watched it last night. Which makes 2 or 3 Things I Know About Her #251. Whaaatever.

Update: Upon finishing Godard’s 2 or 3 Things I Know About Her at around 7:36 CST, my goal has been reached. I will continue to watch films as the days progress, as there is still a bit of time left before classes begin. Success.

Some of you may be familiar with my Spring Break Resolution 2010: Watch 50 Films I Haven’t Seen Before list, and some of you may not. My goal for Spring Break was to watch at least 50 films I’d never seen before, with the only other restriction being that they are on this website (you know, for list-making purposes).

On Thursday, May 13, 2010, I finished my last final exam of the semester. From then through the beginning of the first class day of the Fall 2010 semester, Monday, August 30, I vow to watch 250 films I’ve not seen before. Since there are so many days, I won’t bother numbering them like I did for my Spring Break list. There are likely to be days that I won’t watch a single film, and there are likely to be days where I watch many.

Let’s see if I can do this.

Note: I viewed the parts of Cinématon necessary to qualify for voting in the Directors Cup. Since the entire film is not available, or I haven’t been led to believe it is, I do not count it on my list.

On the morning of May 26, I visited the GARAGE for the first time and started viewing some films. Since I can’t seem to add them to this list, yet they are technically on the website, I will document them below.

Congrats. I'm a bit surprised at some that you hadn't yet seen, though I suppose everyone has those.
