Dogville? Amélie? Run Lola Run? Persona? Eyes Wide Shut? I just can't consider any of these as surrealist films.

really, that entire set design I thought was surreal in and of itself. ALL of those directors I need to see more. overwhelmed, but in the best possible way. always more out there. thanks.

I don't think Dogville has any surrealist quality to it... nor does Kill Bill... a matter of opinion, I guess. You need more Buñuel, Jodorowsky, Bergman and Fellini in your list.

Overlooked you had An Andalusian Dog, i gave the list a good like 10 scans too for Bunel! but yes Chaplin and maybe The Forgotten Ones would be another great Bunel to add.

Many of Chaplin's films are also quite surrealist. Also any surrealist REALLY requires many Luis Bunel films, he is the father of it after all.
