Kolar---you are to be commended for such a detailed list. Very in-depth! My interest in Früh and Schmid have more of a context now. I have already made a short list of must see films with Die Schweizermacher at the top. (I had submitted Der Fall, Dällebach Kari and SOS Gletscherpilot to Mubi after seeing them and I am glad they are entries on your list.) Vielen Dank!

    I'm really pleased and thanks for fan my list and the submission of you. The old Swiss films are totally unknown to me and the mubi user (mostly no user rating), if you've seen enough good swiss movies, maybe make a top list, that would be quite interesting.

Your work on your lists is top notch - this is amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a dedicated Swiss film resource before, so this is going to be a blast to go through.

    thank you Kai for your comment :-) i hope to created a reference list for this subject, because the source material in english about the swiss film is a disaster. There is no book about it (I have found nothing), only in french or german. i put all the english snippets together.

Phew, this is very detailed, and will take some reading! Puts my Austrian effort (and others) to shame. A much needed list, cos i had the feeling Switzerland wasn't here and is generally neglected. I was also surprised Journey of Hope, which i'd awaited for my Immigrants list, didn't come on mubi earlier, since it won the Oscar.

    thank you Kenji for fanning my list. Yes, the Switzerland is really neglected, International, therefore, a detailed article was important to me. 5-6 films with little international attention, the others: unknown for all (not swiss people).
