Was actually a bit underwhelmed, to be honest, but perhaps another viewing is in order. Plus I need to catch up Boetticher's other films and see how they compare.

Yes, I would suggest that you next see 'Seven Men from Now', the blueprint for Boetticher's 'Ranown'/Columbia films that followed, outside of the two town-westerns, perhaps. To me 'Ride Lonesome' serves as the prime example of Boetticher distilling the form and his own language down to its essence. Most still prefer 'Seven Men', though.

And if you were to see those films in close succession, you'll likely notice how, not unlike late Ozu, certain motifs, themes, images recur from one film to another and how their employment varies with each movie. It's a fascinating group of films.

That would make sense, since I believe RL comes at the end of the Ranown cycle. As far as the Ozu comparison, I would actually have to see more of his films, early or late, before commenting further. ;)

I actually have a sched myself except that I write it down on paper. The June line-up is kind of uninteresting, but I know that Fat City's gonna be the shit.

How far ahead does TCM schedule their lineups? Not that I'd want to look ahead, like to be surprised (Haha.) Hopefully Fat City will be on at a convenient time, I'm a great fan of Huston's work.

No problem. I'm hoping to catch at least the former of those two, 'cause I've been meaning to see more of K. Vidor's work.
