i've only seen Chungking Express and L'Eclisse on this list--and they're cool alright. I will try to get through this list based on the fact that those 2 are selected :). Good taste!

Yes, they're cool, but i thought it would be cooler still for the list as a whole to have some less obviously cool films too.

Nice job kenji! Although I would throw in yojimbo (toshiro mifune is cool), once upon a time in the west (charles bronson is cool), or the good the bad and the ugly (clint eastwood and lee van cleef, twice the coolness!)

yes, Le Samourai is a super cool film, but there are different reasons for coolness, including not being obviously cool!

Alas, you have revealed this list. From this one, I think I only mentioned Irma Vep and Le Samourai, the obvious ones :(. How about CRAZED FRUIT? Frank and his Elvis-like(?) hairdo, hot and awesome! Then of course, you'd already know how cool it is since it IS among your selections for the AWC.
