The Media and Morality Triple Feature Part 1: The 70's & 80's

A recent triple feature I embarked on in a night and easily found to be a rewarding viewing experience. I plan to do another triple header with 40’s and 50’s films heavily featuring Sam Fuller who was a work horse of the press and delivered strong on moral themes in his films.
Lumet and Pollack have always been consistently competent with these themes and Bridges was a late and great discovery for me as a viewer. Bridges, who like John Flynn with the crime film, goes far too unrecognized for his effort with themes and craft.
