THE SPAGHETTI WESTERN

By: Anton Williams

Italy, 1961-1978

Spaghetti western is a nickname for a broad sub-genre of Western film that emerged in the mid-1960s, so named because most were produced and directed by Italians, usually in co-production with a Spanish partner and in some cases a German partner. The partners would insist some of their stars be cast in the film.

once upon a time in the west it´s and american movie filmed almost the whole one in Spain but its an amercian one so it´s not a ¨"spaguetthi" and the good, the bad and the ugly should be number one because is the best - better than for a few dollars which is a good remake of yojimbo but not as nearly as good as this one. Despite of that this list is awesome.
