Geoff Andrew is a writer and programmer i've long admired, his Directors Handbook in the early 90s was superb, a pity his updated versions had to concentrate more on pictures and shorter written sections on each (publishers' pressure/demands or such like, he said).

Dim and other Cafe Lumiere haters: I'm well aware Cafe Lumiere is far from Triple H's best, but just wait for the write up. And it's my list, bitches. I think I might add Cafe Lumiere to every list I make. :-P Ira: salamat, kabayan. Another Girl, Another Planet is definitely one of a kind, I don't think Almereyda ever made a film that reached the heights that that film did.

cool, i must check a couple i haven't seen yet but that incessant love about Cafe Lumiere i'll never understand compared to Hou's earlier films ;))) viva Canada by the way and how about one from the silent eras? ;)
