Thanks. I love Leone..but Once Upon a Time in America is my least favorite of his films. I haven't seen it since since the complete version was released about seven years ago. Maybe I'll give it another shot once it comes out on Blu-ray.
No ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA? Seriously? That's one of the best of all time, never mind the '80s... but hey - your list, your opinion. Nice to see such a variety of directors represented here, though.
Back to the Future and Terminator are both quintessential 80's. As far as style, I've always viewed Raging Bull as more 70's and Do the Right Thing as more 90's. Guess it has a lot do with their proximity to each respective decade...
