ISSIZ ADAM (THE DESERTED MAN)- 2008 directed by Cagan Irmak — This movie is about a womanizer living in Istanbul and his adventures with love and lust along the way.
GUNESI GORDUM (I SAW THE SUN)- 2009 directed by Mahsun Kirmizigul — This movie touches a lot of social problems in Turkey. Shows the despair of a family who has two sons one in the Turkish military and the other one in a terrorist separatist group fighting the military, the problem of immigration because of the terrorists from the eastern part of Turkey, the problems of being a transexual in Turkey, and the problems a family who had to migrate to Europe from Turkey.
DELI DELI OLMA (DONT BE CRAZY)-2009 directed by Murat Saracoglu — This movie is about a Russian man whose family migrated to a small village in Turkey to escape from the suppression in Russia in the 1930s. Its about the love affair he had with a Turkish girl that he couldn’t be with because of the family pressure.
BEYAZ MELEK (THE WHITE ANGEL)- 2007 directed by Mahsun Kirmizigul — This movie is about the difference in relationships towards the elders in the city and in the villages of Turkey. We see a villager who came to Istanbul seeking treatment for his father and he sees a retirement home which is filled with elders who are abandoned by their spouse and his journey to his village with them.
DEVRIM ARABALARI (THE REVOLUTION CARS)-2008 directed by Tolga Ornek — This movie is about the struggle of a crew of 23 engineers who are given the task by the General to design and produce the first car of the Turkish Republic in just 130 days.
NEFES (THE BREATH)-2009 directed by Levent Semerci.— This movie is about a small company of soldiers who are at a post in the Eastern border of Turkey and their struggle amongst them selves as well as the terrorists they are fighting.
