Under One Anime Nation – Japanese Animation [Under Construction]

The following list is an attempt to make a comprehensive collection of all the Japanese animation on the database, for people to look through and find films, TV series or shorts of interest, and submit any that they feel should be included. This is not just going to be a list of all those stereotypes of Japanese animation – of schoolgirls with big eyes and multicoloured hair, giant robots or tentacle creatures – and neither will it just about hand drawn works but will include stop-motion and films that use puppets. It will include narrative and abstract works, and anything else regardless of how dubious, terrible and flat-out bizarre they are.

NOTE: I prefer adding works onto this list only if they have screenshots. If you can add an image to a submission to MUBI, I will add it as soon as I can. If it is completely impossible to do so, I will compromise and add it eventually.
