When it's cold outside...

In light of this winter season’s first significant snowfall finally arriving in Canada’s capital region today, here is a list of films that I love to watch at any time of the year, but most especially during the holiday season. I guess you can say that these are my favourite Christmas films as they evoke wonderfully warm (and depressingly cold) feelings of winter. All while being entertaining, thought provoking and just beautiful to look at. So when you’re finished braving the elements of the winter wonderland that many of you are currently surrounded by, why not cuddle up with a warm blanket by the fire, grab your favourite hot beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and put one of these timeless features on the video player.
Happy Holidays!
Edit: Updated and complete (until I realize what other films I’ve seen belong on this ever-changing chilling list).
