Where Comedy & I Meet

I usually despise most comedies for about a million reasons. This is a list, which is always in progress, where the films that I find most valuable in their charm to be funny and those which tickle my humor without trying to be funny (which are available on the auteurs) are documented and praised due to the intelligence and magic of the director (and team) involved.

They are not mediocre but might appeal to children as much as an adult; most on this list usually don’t but those that do are exceptional. They are above the average comedies who usually boast idolized jokes which exists to please one specific gender; these usually run on tired old stereotypes and are usually guided by the conception that stupid automatically means funny. I love it even more when the focus is not on one protagonist and marvelously contains levels of ideas in terms of multiple genres and media forms.
