Woody Allen

By: Chad Frade

I am not such a big fan of “Manhattan.” Everyone loves it. I own it, but there’s something oddly creepy about caring about Isaac. I also had this professor that thought “Manhattan” was the last good movie ever made. He was a class A jerk, so I have a distaste for this movie. I adore his comedy, and I want to be Alvy Singer when I grow up. As a little boy, I didn’t understand them, but I kept going back to them as though they were baseball practice or something. The first movie I ever enjoyed was “Manhattan Murder Mystery.” I was 14, and then I discovered “Bullets Over Broadway” and eventually found the entire cannon wonderful. Annie Hall is a perfect film, and he should never try to do it again.
