Woody Allen

By: Ally the Manic Listmaker

He’s a maniac. He repeats himself. But I can’t help but watching all of his films.

When I was 14, my mother showed me Annie Hall and instantly I…identified Woody Allen with my parents’ generation. It wasn’t until I was 19 and saw Smalltime Crooks in the theater that I fell in love with his work.

If you want to get more into his filmography, here is a guide. Another Woman and Alice tend to be personal favorites, but other than that, go for the ones toward the top!

Ranked.

Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989)
Midnight in Paris (2011)
The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985)
Another Woman (1988)
Alice (1990)
Love and Death (1975)
Small Time Crooks (2000)
Annie Hall (1977)
Bullets Over Broadway (1994)
Hannah and Her Sisters (1986)
Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)
Take the Money and Run (1969)
Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993)
Scoop (2006)
Whatever Works (2009)

It´s been so good for mr. Allen to abandone New York and their newyorkers and find out about emotions in Paris and with people from the South. Though I love practically all of his movies I've just seen Midnight in Paris and Whatever works and...well...day by day he's better in making movies!
