Daily Viewing. Teaser for Cronenberg's "Cosmopolis"
David Cronenberg and Don DeLillo have co-written the adaptation of DeLillo's novel. The cast features Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Samantha Morton, Mathieu Amalric, Jay Baruchel and Sarah Gadon. Via Zac Gille at the Alt Film Guide, who notes that Cosmopolis will likely premiere in Cannes.

This is the Cronenberg we’ve been looking for!
I feel like I would be totally on board with this if Rob Pattinson wasn’t in it.
Well, Cronenberg insists that we’re going to be surprised — pleasantly surprised — by Pattinson’s performance. On the one hand, he would, wouldn’t he. On the other hand, Cronenberg might not, if he didn’t truly believe it.
It seems like he’s going back to his late ’90s era. Excited to see how it goes.
Note there is only 15 seconds worth of images here. Yes, the editing of them with the audio makes it look cool [or something similar to Gaspar Noe] but I’m going to have to reserve judgement until I see more.
