Free Cannes Films at The Auteurs. Movie Poster of the Week: "Harakiri" and the Cannes Festival

Notebook

With Movie Poster of the Week mastermind Adrian Curry on vacation this week, we thought we'd give a little homage to some of the films from the Cannes Film Festival currently playing for free on The Auteurs here.  The films are free exclusively through that link, so follow it to see what's showing in your area.

Selections for the festival vary from country to country—though all are free!—so this entry will be more hodgepodge than usual. We're featuring some less well known foreign posters for some of the very well known films being screened: Antonioni's L'avventura, Tati's Mon Oncle, and Kobayashi's Harakiri (all viewable in the US and Canada), Fahrenheit 9/11 (viewable in New Zealand), Mulholland Dr. (Spain), The Man Who Wasn't There and The Red Balloon (France).

Don't miss our latest features and interviews.
