    Interesting . . . . gives me an idea for a double-feature.

    Thanks Josh!

    Kurt: er, yes.

So you’re trying to tell me that that sixth image from the bottom really isn’t Cruise and Kidman? Insane.

  • Daniel Kasman

Andy: thanks! Glad to see you are posting again on zee slang.

    Ben: I know, right?!

It’s interesting where these films relate to one another not just in their smoothly lit surfaces, but also their vast range of thematic entry points. Cause I’m still not sure what either of these pictures are about (in the precise sense of the word), yet both provide us with so many symbols and surfaces to play with that the very idea of the word ‘unfinished’ might just become trivial. And now I’m also seriously considering this double-bill!

  • Daniel Kasman

It’d be a pretty oblique doublebill, Kurt, but I think you are right nonetheless!

yes but what does it all mean?

  • Daniel Kasman

Hi Hugo, is that a serious question? And what are you referring to, exactly?

  • Ernesto Barros

I’m breathless! I need to watch again both! Very interesting!
