There is a terrible state that many of us have been saturated by in the past, and, at least for me, return to every now and then. This is the state of not knowing what you want but trying to have your cake and eat it too. You burn many cakes along this way. This film profoundly depicts this fumbling-yet-exciting baking process.

The confusion of adolescence that feels so palpable eventually subsides, however often—and unbeknown to us—it takes the confusion inherent in adulthood with it. This film makes you remember all those “defining” moments in your life and how your could have ended up completely different if you were treated better/worse by the people involved in them. Thusly, this film highlights how unnecessarily resistant to change we become;
