What can I say about this film, its one of the great dramas from its era. You wouldn’t think that a movie from the 30’s would hold up til today, but this one does. Its timeless and the director’s portrayal of a married couple on the brink of divorce is done in a very believable and mature way. I also need to compliment the musical score, which is excellent as well as the cinematography. Definitely an overlooked classic!
