As a Christian, I find the film very encouraging to my faith.  While I find some strong inconsistencies to scripture in the begining of the film, as a complete work it is compling.  Have said that, it is important to remember that both the book and film are not “Gospel”.  The film is an interpretation of the thoughts, feelings, and struggles that we as humans would have if we were born with the knowledge of being both God and man.  While I think that the film fails and suceeds in this area, I commend the idea of looking at Christ’s humanity as much as his deity.
