Actually a great movie. It was a perfect blockbuster that didn’t play dumb to the audience. While it has a lot of visual effects and large scale action sequences, it also has a lot of character development. Tom Cruise did an amazing job and proved once again that he is capable of kicking your ass and being a great actor. I think the plot was really well executed and you really got the sense of an actual alien invasion. Few modern remakes surpass the original, this definitely does.
