In what way will this sequel define itself to delude an audience which 9 times out of 10 have witnessed the cheap, jumpy thrills of the previous paranormal activity films…There will certainly be personal perceptions on this overkill idea which seemingly continues to churn itself out an add to the tally of growing doc horrors…
For me, the first film scared me, this was mainly due to its originality and the fact i was new to its authentic idea of documentary style horror. The third to my surprise served its purpose as a effective piece of simplicity yet again, but taken to a more extravagant, loud, destructive level..Yes I was scared, however not in a deep, insufferable way, sound had a huge part to play in this, and was the catalyst in the inpending ‘paranormal’ activity. For some the film is little more than a overdone piece of predictable nonsense, to others, an effective idea taken to a more exorbitant level.
