Incredible mastery of Tone/Mood, Music, Cinematography, Natural Performances, & Pacing. Incredibly grim subject matter handled just as it should be (i.e not sensationalized—so not for the faint-hearted). The sense of dread pervades until the last brilliantly drawn-out scene. Thoughtfully nuanced & accomplished filmmaking of the highest caliber (but not for Christmas viewing :P—can’t wait to see what’s next from this talented Australian director! P.S I downloaded the moody Soundtrack Score from Itunes—puts one right back into the darkness.
