Incredible movie, I’m not sure why so many people disliked this movie when it came out. The mood is stylish and incredible and it’s good to see Tom Hanks in a R-rated movie for once where you feel there are no boundaries. He really gets to flex some acting muscle in this one as well, not too mention a great, creepy turn from Jude Law. This is a dark, dark movie, a modern day gangster flick set about 70 years ago. If you prefer your dramas to be dark, moody, with fine bits of gunplay and action sprinkled throughout, then definitely see this.
